Frequently Asked Questions

COVID 19 - What is our plan?
  • Home Delivery to obtain your fresh produce from the safety of your home.
  • We will continue to follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • All orders will be prepackaged to ensure your food stays safe from harvest to your door.
  • Continued monitoring of staff health and hygiene.

What size share do I need?
  • An average 4 person household would generally be well fed with the medium sized share.  Vegetarians, larger families or those planning to preserve part of the harvest would be best suited with the large share.
  • All share sizes are larger this year because the fruit is added to the share (for customization of your fruit choices).
  • Dairy products are available to swap or purchase as extras.

Where do I receive my vegetables (aside from home delivery)?
We have several meeting locations in Calgary and one in Lethbridge.
  • Interfaith Food bank in Lethbridge on Mondays
  • In Calgary:
  • Southwood Community Center on Tuesdays
  • Hillhurst-Sunnyside Farmers Market & Huntington Hills on Wednesdays
Home Delivery is also an option in Calgary.
How long is our delivery season?
  • The year is divided into 4 delivery seasons. Winter: January to May. Spring: May to June. Summer: July to October. Fall: October to December
  • We typically begin harvesting our own produce in mid-June.
  • Harvest continues until October.
  • Delivery continues with storage vegetables, fruit and dairy products.
Do I have to be home to receive my home delivered order?
  • No, we don't require you to be home.
  • We recommend that you set out a reusable cooler and cold pack. (Frozen water bottles work great!) We don't want to use disposable coolers and cold packs because they are harmful to the environment.
  • Fill out the Home Delivery instructions on your account profile to let us know where to leave your vegetables.
How much does Home Delivery cost?
  • The fee for home delivery is $6.00.
  • The fee is waived with a minimum order of $90.00
  • On Localline fee is waived with each order that reaches the $90 minimum.
  • On Harvie we have to manually make the adjustment, We will adjust the order and send you an email to confirm.
Are my vegetables organic?
  • Noble Gardens vegetables are naturally grown without harmful chemicals (pesticides or herbicides).
  • We are not "certified organic" but follow all the safe food practices of organic growing.
